July 13, 1850, Daily Alta California, San Francisco

The steamer Isthmus, Capt. Hitchcock, arrived yesterday morning from Panama, having left on the 20th ult. She brings upwards of 280 passengers, a list of whom will be found in another column.

The Columbus hence for Panama had touched in at Realejo and proceeded on her course.

The Sarah Sands was passed by the Isthmus on the 2d of July when two days out of Acapulco.

The I., we learn, will be detained until the 17th, and will connect with the Falcon at Chagres, so that passengers by her can proceed without delay on the Isthmus.

The following persons died on board the steamer Isthmus on her passage from Panama: James Grey, Ohio; Seth Perkins, New York; David Williams, Ohio; Samuel Appleby, New York City.
