ARRIVAL OF THE STEAMSHIP "AMERICA"

The steamship America, Captain Edgar Wakeman, from San Juan del Sur, arrived in port last night, April 10th. Following are her memoranda, passenger list, etc.

Memoranda

The North American Steamship Co's steamship America, Edgar Wakeman, Commander, sailed from San Francisco March 5th, 1867, at noon, bound for San Juan del Sur. March 10th, at 9 P.M., passed the Company's steamship Moses Taylor, bound north: March 14th, at 3:45 P.M., passed steamship Golden City, bound north; March 14th, at 7 a. m., passed steamship Salvador, bound north; March 16th, at 11:40 a. m., arrived at San Juan.

Returning, sailed from San Juan March 23d, at 9:30 a. m., with passengers and freight ex steamship San Francisco; March 26th at 8:50 P.M. broke our port shaft; secured the disabled wheel and shaped our course for Acapulco, where we arrived March 28th, at 6 p.m.; received a supply of fresh water and sailed from Acapulco March 29th. 1 P.M.; March 31st, at 8 P.M. spoke steamship Moses Taylor, bound south; April 3d, stopped at Cape St. Lucas eight hours, for cattle; April 10th, at 3 p. m., passed steamship Montana, bound south: April 10th, at 6:30 p. m.. arrived at San Francisco. Passengers and crew all well.
